beautifully maintained historical building, diverse local attractions, artistic and historic atmosphere
The parking situation requires improvement!!! It's a hassle to find external parking so far away!!! The fitness center feels inadequate for a five-star designation!!!

Special and perfect place, exceptionally nice staff especially the receptionist. Spotless rooms with a personal safe, air conditioning and a mini-bar, etc. Location just next door to cocktail bar, restaurants, and the medieval old town centre. Also, in the old town area of a Riga. Smooth check in and late check out. Not to mention excellant wifi!

A birthday surprise made special
Our birthday weekend at the hotel was very nice! Staff helped organize a little surprise. The room was immaculate and clean, and having chocolates added charm.
The bar atmosphere was a disappointment. The smoky air could have been better managed. The lack of a kettle in the room felt odd for a high-end hotel, leaving us dependent on room service for drinks.

The staff at reception were extremely welcoming and professional, the position of the hotel just off the Cathedral Square was perfect for visiting the historic center of Riga. The bedding was very comfortable, the room spacious and immaculately clean, furnishings were luxurious. All the comfort you would expect of a 5 star boutique hotel, good value for the money by Western European standards, but probably very expensive for Latvia.

This was just a strong match for a brief pit stop in Riga with fantastic value for money. The sauna experience was a highlight, being able to reserve it for private use added a nice touch.

Hotel was central and very clean. Staff was very polite
(1) Asked for 30 mins late check-out and it was refused (12.30 rather than 12.00). (2) The second day I was there, I returned the the hotel and I found the door of the room wide open and no cleaning personnel around. I waited few minutes to see if someone was going to come back, but nothing. I went to the receiption and asked for explaination...they simply forgot to close the room! Fortunately nothing was missing in the room.
